Returns

Returning an unwanted item?

We hope that you love your Red purchase(s). However, if you wish to return an item, you may do so within 30 days of delivery provided it meets the conditions outlined below. 

All returns must be processed through our Returns Portal and will be subject to a £4.95 return handling fee, which will be deducted from your refund. 

Please read the following instructions on how to make a return and full returns conditions are below.  

How do I return an item?

  1. Open the Returns Portal
  2. Enter your Order Number from your order confirmation email. 
  3. Select the item(s) you would like to return. 
  4. Choose whether you would like a Refund, Exchange or Store Credit
  5. Drop the parcel at your nearest drop-off location shown in the portal. 

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund, exchange or store credit. 

If you do not receive confirmation within the expected timeframe, please contact us at team@red-equipment.co.uk.  

We use a 48 hour returns service which means we expect your item(s) back to us after two working days. During busy times please allow up to 4 working days. Once your item(s) have been processed, please allow 3-5 working days for refunds to arrive back in your account or payment system. If you do not receive confirmation within the expected timeframe, please contact us at team@red-equipment.co.uk

Promotional Items & Free Gifts 

If your order included free gifts or promotional items (e.g. buy X get Y free), these must also be returned. 

If the promotional item is not returned, the full retail value will be deducted from your refund. 

Promotional items cannot be returned independently for a refund

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must be returned: 

  • Within 30 days of delivery 
  • Unused, unworn and unwashed 
  • In original packaging 
  • With all labels and tags attached 
  • In the same condition as received 

Inflatable products must not be inflated or used outdoors if you intend to return them. Evidence of inflation, water exposure, sand or outdoor use will result in the return being refused.

We cannot accept returns where items show any signs of use

Examples include (but are not limited to): 

  • Visible wear or damage 
  • Odours such as perfume, deodorant, smoke or washing detergent 
  • Pet hair, lint or marks 
  • Signs the product has been washed 
  • Missing original packaging or labels 
  • Tags removed or reattached 

All returns are inspected by our returns team before a refund is approved. 

We monitor return activity to prevent misuse of our returns policy. 

Where unusual return patterns are identified, we reserve the right to: 

  • Refuse future returns 
  • Charge restocking fees 
  • Suspend accounts from further purchases 

Items Returned Without Tags or Packaging

Items returned without original tags or packaging will incur a 50% reconditioning fee, which will be deducted from your refund. 

If an item is returned in a used or worn condition, we reserve the right to: 

  • Reject the return and return the item to the customer without a refund for an additional £9.90 shipping fee. 

Can I exchange an item?

Exchanges are free and can be requested via the Returns Portal

Replacement items will be shipped once the original item has been returned and inspected. Normal wear is not a fault. Misuse voids the return.

What will be the cost of my return?

Returns using the label provided through our Returns Portal are subject to a £4.95 fee which will be deducted from your refund. 

If you choose to return an item using your own courier: 

  • We recommend using a tracked and insured service 
  • You must retain proof of postage 

We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit

Trying Your Item 

We encourage customers to try garments on indoors to check size and fit. For hygiene reasons, changing robes must be tried on over clothing and not worn for outdoor activity unless you intend to keep the item. 

Please ensure that when trying items on they remain: 

  • Clean 
  • Unworn 
  • Free from marks, odours or pet hair 
  • With all original tags attached 

Items that appear to have been worn outdoors, washed or used in activity will not be accepted for return

Examples include: 

  • Dirt or water marks 
  • Odours from outdoor use 
  • Signs of wear on cuffs, seams or fabric 
  • Evidence the item has been washed or used 

Receiving your refund

If your return meets our return conditions, we will issue a refund to your original payment method

Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to appear depending on your bank or card issuer. 

Refunds will include: 

  • The amount paid for the product(s) 

Refunds will not include

  • Original shipping costs 
  • Duties, taxes or customs charges (these must be reclaimed via your local customs authority) 

Right to refuse

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy.
