Escape the Chaos and #OptOutside this Black Friday with Red

Once again, we’re following the lead of our retail partner REI who created the Opt Outside movement, and all of the Red team will get a paid day off to get outside. 

Across Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the Red team will get out of the office to spend some time in the great outdoors to really practice what we preach! To make this time really count, we’re joining forces with our local local Community Interest Company Till the Coast is Clear https://www.tillthecoastisclear.co.uk  helping to clean up the beaches and shorelines of South Devon.

We want to take this time to appreciate the value and benefits of being outside and the good it can do for ourselves and the wider environment. We hope you’ll join us and will choose to #optoutside. 

We won’t be running any specific offers during this time however our website will be running as usual if you choose to shop during this time. As we’re splitting up our teams to get outside over two days, our customer service team will still have cover over and we’ll still be shipping all orders placed. 

Since 2015, our long term retail partner REI, founded in Seattle, has been closing all of it’s stores and giving staff a paid day off to get outside. They wanted to create an alternative on the busiest day of year and go back to their core values of appreciating being outside.
