Waterproof Roll-Top Closure 01

Roll-top closure with side-release buckles. Reliably waterproof - just roll four times, as illustrated, then clip securely for a fully watertight seal.

External and Internal Pockets 02

Dry external stash pockets with colour-coded closures: black tag on fully waterproof IPX5 zipper / red tag on water-resistant IPX2 zipper. An additional hidden internal zipped pocket for valuables.

Bungee Cords 03

Elasticated bungee cargo system for carrying extra kit – ideal for walking / trekking poles or ski poles. Fully adjustable and easily tightened with sprung toggle-stoppers.

Removable Padded Organiser 04

Removable internal padded laptop sleeve / stationery organiser. Velcro attachment and closure with peripheral pockets. Ideal for up to 15-inch laptops, notebooks and tablets.

MOLLE Webbing 05

Two exterior stretch-mesh water bottle pockets for easy-access hydration. Generously designed around our Stainless Steel Insulated Drinks Bottle, so suitable for a full range of styles and volumes of container.

Cooling Foam Shoulder Straps 08

I've only just started using the pack but so far it's performing well. It's only experienced a light rain shower, so I can't comment fully on the waterproofing - though from other packs I know this material is impervious to rain. I've never had pockets on the exterior of a waterproof pack, so I still need to see how dry they stay. The zip on the biggest pocket has a shielded 'pit', so it looks well thought-through to keep the rain from getting in there - a thoughtful piece of design.
Straps are comfortable & easy to adjust on the move & the chest strap can be reconfigured to stop it flapping about if unused.
The removable interior organiser / laptop sleeve has a secret pocket behind it & If you're not intending to slip a laptop in, it gives you lots of interior organisation space.
The rolltop is easy to use & having two closure points stops the top unrolling at the edges (a weakness on my old pack)
All in all, I'm delighted so far & look forward to many years of using this pack.

A great backpack for the money. A lot of space for your all your needs. Like the two waterproof zip pockets on the front. Handy for keeping smaller items dry.
