Shaped for smaller paddlers who value speed and manoeuvrability but don’t want to compromise on practicalities, the 12'0" Voyager inflatable paddleboard is a sleek expedition board. A game-changer for shorter, lighter tourers, it’s also an appealing option for advanced mid-to-heavyweights seeking a faster, more responsive, yet comfortable board.

At 12' long with an ample 285L of volume, this 12'0" Voyager happily carries plenty of weight with front and rear cargo points, although its reduced dimensions make it easier to handle than its bigger Voyager siblings.

Its unique V-Hull and twin-fin setup offer a locked-in ride in all water states as well as superior straight-line tracking. This, combined with a narrower 28" planshape, means covering longer distances takes less effort.

Built in Red’s exclusive, high-density MSL® material, our patented RSS battens further improve rigidity. An elongated central handle makes portaging easier while our new removable side handles can provide more clear deck space, allowing for a wider stance.

Benefits.

  • Sleek: 28" wide tourer designed for smaller, lighter paddlers – or experienced riders wanting more speed.
  • Efficient: narrower planshape and hard-release Speed Tail enhance glide and reduce effort over longer distances.
  • Practical: just 120mm deep yet with a generous 285L of volume for load-carrying.
  • Performance: V-Hull and twin-fin setup provide a locked-in ride and superior tracking.
  • Robust: solidly constructed in Red’s exclusive high-density MSL® material.
  • Reinforced: RSS battens add extra rigidity. Ergonomic: complete package, including market-leading fixtures and accessories, packs neatly into our comfortable All-Terrain Backpack.

How to store your board

Before storing, rinse all equipment in fresh water and let it dry completely.

To pack away, lay the deflated board deck-up and place the pump across the nose, leaving enough room to wrap the board over. Roll tightly, then secure with the strap. Use the backpack’s internal strap to secure the board inside.

Store your board in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. If keeping it rolled up, avoid excess pressure on the straps. If space allows, it’s best to store the pump separately.

You can also leave your board inflated, ideally kept on a flat surface...

Laminate: the reinforced composite coating is bonded to the textile core using machine welding that applies heat and pressure to the inner PVC layer, saving over 2kg of adhesives and reducing cosmetic and safety concerns. Produced under low tension, this process creates a torsional stiffening effect when the boards are inflated, making MSL® stiffer at lower pressures.

Legendary with good reason!

Brilliant, very excited about using this on lots of Scottish adventures as well as our regular Cumbrian paddle spots! It tracks beautifully, is a dram to paddle, is very stable and comfortable in any chop. Proven and renowned for good reason!

Newbie

Ok I’m a complete newbie, I’ve not tried another board, I looked for a while and thought what’s the point with buying a lesser cheaper board knowing that if I really get into the sport that I would probably upgrade and regret not getting a top of the range board to start with, so I went for it knowing that if I don’t like the sport I could sell it easily.

Well luckily I’m hooked, I went for the Voyager 12’0 knowing that it’s probably a little bit harder to learn on than a wider flatter board and I’m glad I did, on my third afternoon of playing around and finding my feet I met my friend who had a wider flatter board, he was definitely paddling more to keep up and when he tried mine he said it was a noticeable difference in the length of the glide and the less strokes it took to manoeuvre.

So all in all its a happy purchase so far and I hope to definitely use it more and with the 5yr guarantee for a long time to come

Superb Board

I love this board! It's extremely well made with lots of nice features. The board glides through the water and is very stable. I take my dog with me everywhere I go and when packed up for longer hours touring on the water it handles very well.
