Really soft inside, good coverage for my legs. Feels like it will be really warm. Looking forward to getting into it after being in the water.

I bought this as a coat and I am very pleased with the quality. It is completely waterproof and extremely warm and comfortable in very cold, windy and wet conditions. The little peak on the hood is especially useful for keeping rain out and still enabling you to see where you’re going!
However… it is a bit too insulated when temperatures get much above 8-10C. You will never need more than a T shirt under it even in the coldest weather, and on a brisk walk you’ll quickly get hot and sweaty even wearing it not done up.
I don’t intend to use it as a changing robe, but I think it has some drawbacks for that too. I am 5ft 8” and bought a medium size. Getting a cozzie off was ok but a wetsuit would be a lot more difficult. The fluffy lining won’t dry you off properly either, you will need a towel, unless damp underwear is all part of the charm of extreme sports. When I tried it at home, it wasn’t that easy to pull a bra or a T shirt on either, and I couldn’t see the point of the stretch panels - they only expand by about 1cm and are right at the bottom of the robe. You need the extra stretch higher up.
As a changing robe used as intended it’s going to get covered in sea water, silt, sand and mud. It’s supposed to be washable at 30C but not only is it a massively large and heavy coat for a domestic w/m, but I think washing it too often will degrade the waterproofing - and because of the fluffy lining you can’t redo it with Nikwax.
So, my verdict is that it’s only good as a coat…
