Zip Lubricant

I ordered the zip lubricant to address the very stiff zip on the cool bag rucksack that I bought as a present for my brother. One application, and the zip moves nice and freely. The rucksack is excellent.

I’m disappointed because Red know that their waterproof zips are really tight when new, so why not include a tube with the rucksack? Surely you could add it to the price or recommend buyers get a tube at the time they buy the rucksack? Unfortunately I got the rucksack, struggled with the zip, went online to find the remedy, then paid postage for a tube that I could have avoided if I’d got it at the same time.

Great product, but service could be vastly improved. Gave similar feedback when ordering the lubricant but didn’t get a reply.

Probably a good idea to use a similar product to help avoid salt water jamming zippers but there are a few problems with this product:

Its a very small tube

The tip came off it when pressure was applied

It's a bit fiddly

I suggest selling a larger tube which will last several applications and making the delivery device a bit more robust. Ideally avoid plastic or use recycled plastic and non-petrochemical grease.
