I had a sizing problem, (nobody’s fault), but the way with which it was dealt was really marvellous. It is really good that companies exist who see a problem as an opportunity to demonstrate just how good they are.

This jacket is so beautifully made, as you would expect with Red, and attention to detail is wonderful. I think it ticks a new box of a jacket that covers the changing robe aspect but is also a very decent and smart jacket for life! I especially love the double pockets on the front so plenty of storage but also hands can have their own separate space. I bought the longer length as I am 5'8 tall and the green is going to see me through most of the seasons in the UK - this jacket was gifted for a review but having worn and tried and tested it, I would most certainly invest in one.

Whilst I love the warmth of my original Red robe it’s massive and bulky. The new Pursuit style is a game changer. I went for Medium, so it will fit over my PFD, which it does, but it’s still more fitted, takes up less space and super comfy. It’s not yet had the full test of a UK winter morning in the North, but so far very impressed

I have had the robe for a couple of weeks and in general it is superb but I have a couple of small issues and wishes for the next variant. The robe is really waterproof, which has been proved recently! I have used it for both changing and walking the dog. It is superbly designed and very comfortable and really fulfils the job of two garments, so in my mind is worth the money. It is also light compared to other robes but still warm.

My only issue is the length. I am 5'11" and bought the XL version, which is designed for people up to 6'3". It however comes to my lower thigh. This means, even with boots, my trousers get wet between the thigh and knee. It also means that it is a little short for changing (a little revealing when bending over!).

The expandable sides are fantastic when changing and a superb idea, as it looks like a coat when walking and a robe when changing. I would like to see for future versions a double zip and vent, so when walking and changing there is a little airflow under the arms.

I would also like a chunkier zip and poppers, as when your hands are cold and changing these are a little fiddly, where they are small.

The hood is excellent, nice and big and adjustable. The waist clinch is a nice touch as well.

If it was a little longer, I would have given it 5 stars!

John came to serve us, and was happy to provide all 3 types of change robe, in all the different lengths and colours available, so that a very informed choice could be made.
